To cross the Maipo river from a height of 25 meters is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting experiences that Cascade Lodge offers.
CANOPY
We have recently added the canopy to our outdoor résumé! This highly popular activity is not for the faint of heart and constitutes of soaring from treetop to treetop while being securely buckled to a steel cable.
Every treetop carries its own platform, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular forest views whilst your safety guide prepares you for your next flight.
Ideally, this activity is combined with the Zip Line, but it can also be perfectly enjoyed on its own!
Like with all our other activities, safety comes first, and our outdoor experts will make absolutely sure that you will be able to enjoy this exhilarating activity in a carefree manner.
A 170 meters cable crossing over the river, one of the longest in Chile, in this type of activity, on zips that can reach up to 50 kilometers per hour. A true occurrence where vertigo and adrenaline are combined with the indescribable pleasure of appreciating a splendid scenery and enjoying the wind hitting our faces.
The circuit is designed with the highest safety standards and operated by experts. This is how we can ensure that our visitors will experience the adventure in full security.

Un emocionante circuito de nueve estaciones alcanzando alturas de 60 mtrs.
Una de las actividades de más reciente introducción en el Santuario, constituye un emocionante circuito de nueve estaciones, durante el cual se recorre prácticamente un kilómetro y se alcanzan alturas de hasta 60 metros.
Cada una de las nueve plataformas que conforman el circuito ha sido delicadamente diseñado por el artista Sergio Andrade, así como algunas de las escaleras que nos permiten subir hasta las alturas. Ahí, casi en las copas de los árboles, nuestros guías se preocuparán de preparar a los visitantes con sus correas, poleas y los elementos de seguridad, para entonces iniciar los recorridos.
Cada circuito es una aventura en sí misma, deslizándose entre la vegetación y atravesando dos veces el río Maipo, la primera en dirección norte-sur, y la segunda para regresar a la otra orilla (sur-norte).
Para que la diversión sea completa, hemos procurado que toda la actividad esté amparada por las más estrictas normas internacionales, incluso superando los estándares más exigentes que existen al respecto.
