2 Days/1 Night Itinerary

Day 1:

Breakfast at the “La Tribu” Restaurant in Cascada de las Ánimas. Departure for an approximately 3 and a half hours walk to the “Los Reyunos” estuary. Tasty lunch is had, resting under quillayes and olivillo trees. The trek continues for another two hours, until the “Alamos Meseta” is reached. This spectacular plateau has native quillay and olivillo forests, and a mountain estuary with pools and cascades. The afternoon is for enjoying a bath and resting. By sunset time, a fire is lit, to savour a delicious dinner, with wine and live guitar music under the stars.

Day 2:

After breakfast, a walk towards the “El Álamo” waterfall starts, where a breathtaking view of the grand Cordillera, its valleys and canyons can be seen. Lunch is had upon returning to base camp. The afternoon is for walking back to Cascada de las Ánimas. This takes about 4 hours.

3 Days/2 Nights Itinerary

Day 1: Just like day 1 of the previous description.

Day 2:

The day starts after breakfast, with a walk towards “Los Altos del Pangal”, where the mountain ridges are reached, and a 360 degree view can be appreciated. This trek arrives to a point of 3090 metres above sea level. A day filled excitement and impressive scenic beauty. A lunch break is followed by more walking, to a new camp site in the “Pozón de las Lágrimas”, where a refreshing bath can be had, and a rest, to be followed by dinner.

Day 3:

Breakfast and morning time to enjoy the camp site and explore the surroundings. Lunch in the camp, and then walking back to Cascada de las Ánimas (for about 2 and a half hours). Farewell drinks (beer or juice) are served at the “La Tribu” restaurant.
